Stephen “tWitch” Boss Reportedly Laid To Rest In Intimate Ceremony In Los Angeles, Larger Funeral Planned For The Future
Stephen “tWitch” Boss was reportedly laid to rest in a private ceremony on Wednesday (Jan. 4).
The intimate funeral, held in Los Angeles, was only for close family. Future plans call for a larger gathering with friends to appropriately honor the renowned dancer and producer.
As previously reported, tWitch was found dead in a motel room less than a mile from his Los Angeles home on Dec. 13. Employees visited the room after he failed to check out on time and discovered him dead in the bathroom from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He reportedly checked into the motel a day before, carrying only a small bag. Staffers claim he didn’t seem to be distressed or obviously disturbed about anything.
Allison, tWitch’s wife, was distraught when she reported her husband missing, claiming it was not normal of him and that he had left his car at home.

According to law enforcement sources, he left behind a note referencing his past battles at the scene of his suicide.
tWitch is known by many for being the hype-man and DJ on the long-running Ellen DeGeneres talk show. He became an executive producer on the show in 2020.
Ellen DeGeneres paid tribute to her friend in a touching statement released via Twitter. She said,
“I’m heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.”
