Nipsey Hussle–Social Media Is Reacting To Joke ‘Family Guy’ Made About The Late Rapper

It looks like ‘Family Guy’ may have crossed the line!

A 2021 episode of Family Guy has resurfaced on social media causing an uproar. The controversial moment takes place when the character Chris tells his parents that he’s going to a music festival. When asked for more details about the festival, Chris mentions 2Pac and Nipsey Hussle holograms.

He said,

“They’re gonna have holograms of 2Pac and also Nipsey Hussle, who I’d never heard of and then was told to care immensely about.”

While many people were offended by the joke and took offense, others felt it was the norm for a show like “Family Guy” which typically pushes the envelope.

One Twitter user said,

“Yeah that’s wild to even speak on. Seth a loser for this”

Another person with a similar sentiment wrote,

“Tbh, nipsey hussle didn’t have much popularity with a lot of people but this was way out of line.”

Some Twitter users felt the complete opposite and considered it a harmless joke.

“Family Guy and South Park been wildin for 20 years. Don’t get fake outrage now”

Another user said,

“Nobody is ever safe on that show. They make fun of everybody lol”

As previously reported, West Coast rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed at 33 years old in the parking lot of his Los Angeles clothing store, The Marathon Clothing, in March 2019.

Last month, Eric Ronald Holder Jr., 33, the man convicted of killing the Grammy-winning rapper asked a judge for less time behind bars.

According to reports, Eric Holder Jr. claims jurors delivered a contradictory verdict back in July, so he’s filing a new motion asking that his premeditated murder conviction be reduced to voluntary manslaughter.

According to recent reports, a judge rejected the defense motion to have Holder Jr.’s first-degree murder conviction reduced to second-degree murder or voluntary manslaughter on Monday (December 19). Los Angeles Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke also denied a defense motion for a new trial for Holder Jr., whose sentencing was scheduled for February 22.
