Jamie Foxx Is ‘Doing A Lot Better’ After Being Hospitalized Due To Undisclosed ‘Medical Complication’
Jamie Foxx seems to be making a speedy recovery.
According to reports, over the weekend, insiders close to the entertainer gave an update on his health and shared that he’s “doing a lot better.” They also said that the “Baby Driver” actor is “communicating now, and that’s good news.”

Last week, Corinne Foxx took to Instagram to announce that her celebrity father “experienced a medical complication.”

Corinne Foxx wrote:
“From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
The 29-year-old added:
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.
Much love,
The Foxx Family.”

However, as previously reported, Foxx being out of work on medical leave won’t affect the deadline for his latest project. Reports claim that the “Ray” actor had eight filming days left for the Netflix film he was working on prior to his hospitalization. The production team is reportedly still aiming to wrap up the project on time. In order to do this, it’s speculated that Foxx’s remaining scenes will have to be rewritten to exclude him, completely removed from the film, or shot using a stand-in.
