Destiny’s Child Fans Speculate Former Group May Be Gearing Up For 25th Anniversary Tour After Discovering ‘Coming Soon’ Message For A New Website: ‘I Would Pay Anything For A Ticket!’
Another superstar group reunion could be coming to a city near you!
Famed singing group Destiny’s Child sparked online fanfare recently after an update to their website led many to believe they may be planning a reunion tour.

Conversations about DC reuniting began after one Beyoncé fan stumbled upon the group’s website and made a now-viral video about what she found. In a TikTok post, that has now been viewed over 138,000 times, the user noted that DC’s official page is under construction with no information other than a video graphic with a superimposed title that reads “25 years” and “new website coming soon.”

Additionally, the woman explained that the owner of the domain name is Music World Entertainment. The company was previously owned by the musicians’ longtime manager and Beyoncé’s father Matthew Knowles. Back in 2022, however, the music professional sold the business to investment group APX Capital in a multi-million dollar deal.

While reports covering the acquisition did not indicate plans to revive the Grammy-winning R&B group, it’s clear the company has something in the works. Destiny’s Child, at the peak of their notoriety, was comprised of famed singers Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, 41, Kelendria ‘Kelly’ Rowland, 42, and Tenitra ‘Michelle’ Williams, 44. The group originally formed in 1990 as Girl’s Tyme before being signed to Columbia Records several years later and rebranding as Destiny’s Child. Together, the first group members, which also held LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, released hit singles such as “Bills Bills Bill” and “Say My Name,” which had major chart success.

After some tension within the group, Luckett and Roberson were eventually replaced by Williams and another aspiring singer named Farrah Franklin. Months into the newly formed dynamic, however, Franklin exited, leaving the group as a trio. Together, Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle dominated the R&B genre for several years. Releasing decorated singles such as “Survivor,” “Independent Woman,” and “Bootylicious,” it seemed for a while there was no stopping the girl group.
In 2001, the trio announced they’d be taking a hiatus to pursue solo projects. It wouldn’t be until 2004 that DC reunited to release their fifth and final album “Destiny Fulfilled,” a project they toured the following year. Since their official disbandment in 2006, Kelly, Michelle, and Beyoncé have taken the stage a few times for single reunion performances. Their last show together was at the 2018 Coachella Festival when Beyoncé surprised fans with her former bandmates during her headlining set.

Now, it seems fans are hopeful they will get another collab from the group. After the TikTok video went viral, many flocked to the comments section with their hopeful wishes that the video creator’s speculations come to fruition. Some, however, took a less enthused stance, suggesting the website may end up just being a dedication to the famed group and not an indication of anything more.
