Exclusive: ‘Braxton Family Values’ Set To Make Return On Wetv
The Braxtons are coming back to a TV near you!
theJasmineBrand exclusively reports that “Braxton Family Values” is gearing up to make a return. The popular reality series – which centers around the famous Braxton sisters and their mother Evelyn – aired on WEtv in 2011 and ran for seven seasons, ending in 2020. However, our sources have told us that the Braxtons are ready to share their personal lives with the world again. An insider also let it slip that fans will be able to catch the reboot on WEtv, which might be a little shocking.

Braxton Family Values cast circa 2014
You may recall that filming for season six of “Braxton Family Values” was temporarily paused due to Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Evelyn boycotting over complaints they were being underpaid. Unfortunately, the issues members of the musical family seemingly had with WEtv didn’t end there.
Tamar Braxton has slammed the network a few times over the years for exploitation. Following the release of the trailer for the seventh season, Tamar Braxton called out WEtv for mentioning her reported suicide attempt in the promotional footage, despite her not being “on that show anymore.”
In part, she expressed,
“F*CK Wetv and whomever else is participating in using my pain for their pleasure and ratings.”

When replying to a fan who said she was “blaming a show she volunteered for,” Tamar said,
“baby…I’m not on that show anymore. This is all done behind my back.”

Then the following year during an event, she shared that her family had plans to return to reality TV, but “not on a foolish network.”
She added,
“The true depiction of a Black American family is not a bunch of foolishness. The other part of the truth is, I ain’t finna let the devil use me like that – for people’s entertainment purposes. It’s a no for me dawg.”
