Yung Miami Seemingly Addresses Claims She Liked A Shady Post About Nicki Minaj: ‘I Don’t Have A Problem w/ Anyone’
Rap star Yung Maimi is tired of the internet making up stories about her.
The City Girls member seemingly addressed recently surfaced speculations that she’s on bad terms with Nicki Minaj after social media users noticed a “shady” post in her likes.

In a message posted to her X account (formerly Twitter), Caresha ‘Yung Miami’ Brownlee appeared to speak on the matter, writing:
“I am a grown a** lady with 2 kids & don’t have time to be inserting myself in anything that has nothing to do with me! I dont have a problem with anyone please leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyday I wake up on this app it’s something new I am tired!”

Adding in a follow-up post:
“I am on here to promote my sh*t & keep moving!”

Though she didn’t name Nicki Minaj nor Minaj’s fans, known as the Barbz, the timing of Yung Miami’s post comes shortly after she was called out for seemingly slighting the “Super Bass” artist. One social media user shared a video clip of Yung Miami’s recent likes, which featured one post captioned “Meg stay winning” in response to an article about Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty seeking court approval to travel with her internationally.

If you recall, Megan Thee Stallion and Minaj had a spat earlier this year after the Houston native seemingly referenced Petty’s sex offender conviction in a diss track. Petty is required to get court permission to travel because he was found guilty of attempted rape back in 1994.

By liking the post about Petty, it appeared that Yung Miami was positioning herself against Minaj, though she insisted in her tweets that this was not the case. Despite defending herself, however, it doesn’t seem the Barbz are letting her off the hook. Many slammed the “CFWM” rapper, arguing she’s “playing the victim” and speculated reasons she may have been shady towards Minaj in the first place.
