Addressing the rumors head-on, Martin Lawrence said during an appearance with Will Smith Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning that he is in good health.
Ebro asked,
“Is there anything you want to say to the people, because they’re concerned about your health? Is there anything you want to say to them while you have the floor?”
Martin responded,
“I’m fine, I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed. I’m glad to be waking up everyday … No need for people to be concerned.”
He continued,

They highlighted a 1996 incident when Lawrence was hospitalized after running into traffic, shouting and cursing. A doctor later attributed his condition to extreme exhaustion and dehydration. Additionally, in 1999, Lawrence suffered a heat stroke while exercising, resulting in a three-day coma.
