Simone Biles Flaunts Historic Win While Shading Donald Trump Amid Backlash Over His ‘Black Jobs’ Remark

Olympic champion Simone Biles took a subtle jab at former President Donald Trump.

The 27-year-old referenced the businessman’s controversial comment, alleging that “millions” of illegal immigrants were coming to “take the Black jobs,” while flexing her recent historic win.

Simone Biles, who became the most decorated US Olympic gymnast of all time this week  after earning her second gold medal in the women’s all around, reposted an upload from singer Ricky Davila, who first alluded to Donald Trump’s questionable comment. The musician shared an image of Simone Biles donning a G.O.A.T. necklace and a new medal, writing as a caption:

“Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job.”

The star athlete reposted the image, adding her own caption:

“I love my black job”

In case you missed it, Donald Trump’s “Black jobs” comment has continued to haunt him ever since he made the remark during his debate against President Joe Biden last month. Many felt the rhetoric has blatantly racist, though his supporters argue that he was attempting to make Black Americans weary of the alleged amount of illegal immigrants coming to “take their jobs”. Trump stated at the time:

“They’re taking Black jobs now and it could be 18, it could be 19 and even 20 million people,…They’re taking Black jobs, and they’re taking Hispanic jobs, and you haven’t seen it yet, but you’re going to see something that’s going to be the worst in our history.”

Trump has continued to face criticism and backlash over the matter, and even clashed with members of the NABJ recently when they asked him to clarify what he meant, to which he responded.:

“A black job is anybody that has a job, that’s what it is. Anybody that has a job,”
