Raven-Symoné Is Not Fully Sold On ‘Hanging w/ Mr. Cooper’ Reboot: ‘It Would Be Fantastic, But..’
Raven-Symoné is keeping it real about the possibility of a “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” reboot.
During her appearance on “The Talk,” the actress, who gained fame from her role in the classic sitcom, shared that while she stays close with co-stars Holly Robinson Peete and Mark Curry, she’s not entirely sold on the idea of reviving the show.
When asked if a reboot was in the cards, she said,
“Right, right, right. Umm, right, right.”
She added,
“It would be fantastic, but I will say, Mark, Holly, and myself, we reboot at home a lot of the time. I don’t know if we would ever go public with it, but we’re always involved in each other’s life, and sometimes that’s more important than showing it out to the world.”

On her bond with her former co-stars, Raven recalled their days on set fondly, saying,
“Mark Curry and Holly Robinson Peete have been amazing mentors in my life. To be able to be on the set with them at seven years old, when they would say, ‘Go in your room, this is adults talking,’ and now they’re like, ‘Come here, let me tell you what happened,’ makes me very happy.”
“Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper,” created by Jeff Franklin, aired on ABC from 1992 to 1997 and featured a talented cast that also included Dawnn Lewis, Marquise Wilson, Nell Carter, Saundra Quarterman, and Omar Gooding.
