King Harris Arrested In Georgia For Failure To Appear In Court

King Harris, the son of T.I. and Tiny Harris, was arrested in Dunwoody, Georgia, this week after he failed to appear in court.

In a police incident report obtained by Atlanta new station WSB-TV2, King Harris was pulling out of a gas station in a BMW when he nearly hit a police officer’s car. After the officer pulled King Harris over, they smelled marijuana coming from his vehicle and noticed he had a firearm on his hip.

The officer told King to put his hands on the steering wheel while they checked his information. They discovered that there was a warding out for his arrest in Pickens County after he failed to appear at a court date.

The officer wrote in the report that he then arrested King, putting him in the back of the patrol car and taking him to Dekalb County Jail. The officer also searched the two other people in the car with King and found two small bags of marijuana. One of the people were cited for possession of marijuana.

Per Fox 5 Atlanta, King was charged in August 2022 for with speeding, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs. This past September, an arraignment notice was returned and a bench warrant was issued. After he was transferred from Dekalb to Pickens County, a recall was ordered for the warrant.
