Shyne Says He Was ‘Set Up To Be The Fall Guy’ Of 1999 Shooting Involving Diddy In Trailer For New Doc ‘The Honorable Shyne’
As the old saying goes, “There are three sides to every story,” and rapper-turned-politician Shyne is ready to tell his truth.
The trailer for Shyne’s new Hulu documentary The Honorable Shyne dropped moments ago. In the video, Shyne maintains his innocence as he touches on the 1999 club shooting that resulted in his arrest and 10-year prison stint. According to the “Bonnie & Shyne” artist, he was “set up to be the fall guy” of the entire ordeal.

Diddy, Shyne Barrow
Shyne has previously accused Diddy multiple times of blaming the incident on him. Most recently, in September following Diddy’s arrest, he said during an interview,
“I was defending him [Diddy], and he turned around and called witnesses to testify against me. He pretty much sent me to prison. So that is the context by which you must always describe that relationship.”
And continued,
“Yes, I forgive and have moved on, but let’s not pretend I was in Miami for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is someone who destroyed my life.”
The Honorable Shyne is set to release on November 18.
