Conor McGregor’s Sexual Assault Accuser TestifiesAgainst Him As Trial Begins
Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor’s sexual assault trial has officially commenced in Ireland.
According to the Dublin Associated Press, McGregor’s accuser, hair colorist Nikita Ni Lamhain, took the stand on day 1 of the civil case yesterday (November 5th), testifying that the 36-year-old and his friend raped her in a hotel room back in 2018.
According to Lamhain, who originally filed the suit in 2021, she was partying with McGregor during a Christmas party and had consumed alcohol and cocaine before the athlete and a friend took her and her friend to a nearby hotel.

Allegedly, during the night, McGregor and another man named James Lawrence forcibly had sex with Lamhain.
A doctor reportedly testified during the hearing that Lamhain had injuries after the interaction and also had to have her tampon taken out by forceps.
The report notes that neither McGregor nor Lawrence spoke on day 1 of the trial, though both men maintain the interaction was consensual.
The case is expected to last about 2 weeks, with proceedings continuing today (November 6th).
