NY Attorney General Letitia James Warns She’s ‘Prepared To Fight Back’ Following Trump’s 2024 Victory
Letitia James is making it clear she’s not backing down after Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential win.
During a press conference on Wednesday (Nov. 6), the New York State Attorney General congratulated Donald Trump on his victory but quickly issued a warning, saying,
“We are prepared to fight back once again.”
She emphasized that, despite any potential cooperation with Trump’s administration, she and her office would not compromise their values or integrity.
Letitia James, who won a civil fraud case against Donald Trump in February that resulted in a $464 million judgment, made it clear her team is ready to protect New Yorkers from any attempts to roll back rights or attack the state:
“We’ve created contingency plans, so no matter what the next administration throws at us, we’re ready.”
