LeBron James’ Media Company Reportedly Lost Nearly $30 Million In 2023
LeBron James’ media company, SpringHill, reportedly lost $28 million last year on $104 million in revenue, according to Bloomberg.
The company, co-founded by LeBron and Maverick Carter in 2020, has struggled financially despite producing high-profile projects like “Space Jam: A New Legacy” and “The Shop.”

Maverick, SpringHill’s CEO, explained the losses to Bloomberg, citing industry challenges:
“The entertainment market shift in 2022/2023 toward profitability brought rising costs, slower buyer decisions, and impacts from industry strikes, prompting us to recalibrate, including writing off underperforming projects to position ourselves for future growth.”
SpringHill has also faced previous losses, including $17 million in 2022, and has never been profitable, according to the report. However, Maverick expressed optimism for the company’s future, highlighting its recent merger with British production company Fulwell 73, which aims to scale the business and achieve profitability by the end of next year.
