Diddy Sued For Allegedly R@ping Woman At Charity Event In 1991
Diddy faces a new r@pe allegation dating back to 1991, before his rise to fame, during a tragic NYC charity basketball event, according to TMZ.
The accuser, filing as Jane Doe, claims she attended the event at City College of New York, co-sponsored by a young Sean “Puffy” Combs. Invited by a rapper, she and a friend arrived early, navigating an unruly crowd, and were eventually led to Combs’ makeshift dressing room while looking for the rapper.
In the lawsuit, she alleges Combs offered her a drink, which made her feel woozy. When she tried to leave, she claims he blocked her, began touching himself, and ultimately overpowered and raped her. Afterward, she says Combs threatened her to stay silent, warning, “people can come up missing.”
She and her friend later fled amid the chaos of a stampede caused by the oversold event, which resulted in 9 deaths and multiple injuries. Heavy D headlined the event, tied to Uptown Records, where Combs started his career.
Diddy has yet to comment on the lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee.
