Comedian Roy Wood Jr. Turns Down A Tequila Shot On CNN: ‘The Last Black Man That Drank On This Network Got Fired’
Roy Wood Jr. wasn’t taking any chances!
The comedian was one of many stars who stopped by CNN’s annual live New Year’s Eve special. But he refused to get too comfortable when asked by host Andy Cohen if he wanted to take a shot. He replied,
“The last Black man who drank on this network got fired.”
He was seemingly talking about Don Lemon, who also used to host the NYE special before he was let go by CNN in April 2023.
