Philadelphia students are getting the ultimate reward for their team’s big win—a day off to celebrate the Eagles’ Super Bowl victory.

The School District of Philadelphia announced all schools will be closed Friday (Feb. 14), giving nearly 200,000 students and 20,000 staff members the chance to join the parade.

The district shared,

“We look forward to joyfully celebrating the Eagles’ victory as a community.”

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Financial Field, making its way past City Hall to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Other institutions, including Temple University and nearby school districts, have also canceled classes.
