Michael B. Jordan is standing by Jonathan Majors despite his recent legal troubles.
In a new interview with GQ, Jordan, who directed and starred alongside Majors in Creed III, was asked about Majors’ conviction and the impact on his career. Speaking candidly, he said:
“It was a tough situation, but he’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy.”
When asked if he would work with Majors again, Jordan didn’t hesitate:
“Yes. Yes.”
Majors was convicted in December 2023 of misdemeanor a$$ault and harassment after a jury found he a$$aulted his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. He was sentenced to a year of domestic violence counseling.
