George Foreman’s Public Memorial Scheduled For April 14
The family of George Edward Foreman, alongside the City of Houston, has announced a public memorial service to honor his life and remarkable legacy. The service will take place at the Wortham Theater Center, located at 501 Texas Ave, Houston, TX, on April 14, 2025, at 10:45 a.m.
Due to limited seating and security concerns, entry will be by confirmed ticket only, with some portions of the service being private and by invitation.
The family expresses their gratitude to all those who wish to join in celebrating the life of George Foreman—husband, father, grandfather, friend, and a beloved hometown hero.
George Foreman sadly passed away on March 21.
