Michael Ealy To Play Malcolm X In Prime Video’s Muhammad Ali Series ‘The Greatest’
Michael Ealy has officially joined the cast of “The Greatest,” Prime Video’s limited series on Muhammad Ali, as Malcolm X, a role fans have long wanted him to portray.
Although this will be the first time Ealy will embody the Civil Rights and Black Muslim movement leader in fiction, he has previously performed live readings of Malcolm X’s words, including in the documentary film “The People Speak.”
Michael Ealy’s casting brings depth to the story of Ali’s ties to the Nation of Islam. He was recently seen in “Power Book II: Ghost” and will next appear in “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.”
