Diddy Warned ‘People Could Go Missing’ If He Didn’t Get His Way, Says Singer Dawn Richard
Dawn Richard returned to the witness stand in Diddy’s sex trafficking trial.
According to reports, Richard testified that if Diddy didn’t get his way, “people could go missing,” which she understood to mean “people could die.”
She also described witnessing physical abuse toward singer Cassie Ventura, saying:
“Frequently, he would punch her, choke her, slap her in the mouth. I saw him kick her, punch her in the stomach.”
When asked what triggered the violence, she said:
“When she [Cassie] would speak up for herself.”

Richard recalled a 2009 incident where Diddy punched Cassie in the face, leaving her with a swollen eye. At an event shortly after, both women wore sunglasses as a sign of “solidarity.”
She also shared that Diddy kept drugs, including weed, Molly, cocaine, ketamine, and Plan B, in a Louis Vuitton bag that traveled with him everywhere.
Defense attorney Nicole Westmoreland challenged Richard’s claims by pointing out that Richard had met with prosecutors multiple times without mentioning death threats.
Diddy is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. The trial is expected to last several more weeks. If convicted, Diddy could face life in prison.
