Honorary Secret Service Agent DJ Daniel, 13, Faces New Cancer Setback As White House Confirms Discovery Of 3 Brain Tumors
The White House is lifting up 13-year-old DJ Daniel, a Houston teen and honorary Secret Service agent, after learning he’s now battling three new tumors.
“We’re lifting up Agent DJ Daniel in prayer after his dad, Theodis, shared that DJ is now facing three new tumors,” officials said via social media. “Agent Daniel, you’re a true legend.”
Daniel, who has been fighting brain and spinal cancer since 2018, was given just five months to live but has since undergone 13 brain surgeries. His bravery and passion for law enforcement led to his being sworn into over 1,300 agencies, including ones in Italy.
Daniel was made an honorary Secret Service agent in 2017 during President Donald Trump’s joint address to Congress.
