Tyler Perry’s New Thriller ‘Straw’ Was Shot In Just 4 Days

Tyler Perry’s latest Netflix thriller Straw is sitting at #1 globally, but it’s the behind-the-scenes story that’s got people talking.
Netflix’s Strong Black Lead page shared photos from the set and revealed in the caption, “Tyler said we got 4 days to shoot this, and the cast and crew DELIVERED.”
Taraji P. Henson, who stars in the film, had previously opened up about the tight schedule while filming both Straw and Fight Night. “I was also at the time working on Fight Night. They worked it out with my schedule,” she shared. “I went and shot this for four days and went right back to Fight Night.”
