Bronny James Addresses Rumors Of Dad LeBron Leaving The Lakers: ‘He Just Tells Me Not To Worry About It’
Bronny James is brushing off the speculation surrounding his father, LeBron James, possibly leaving the Lakers.
“Actually, one of my friends called me, talking about what I was going to do, because they seen my dad, whatever,” Bronny told reporters. “I didn’t see it… I was like, ‘yeah, I have no idea what you’re talking about.’”
When asked whether he feels L.A. is still where LeBron wants to be, Bronny added, “We don’t really talk about it much… He just tells me to not worry about it, not even pay attention to it, just lock into what you have going on right now.”
The questions come after LeBron’s agent Rich Paul told ESPN, “LeBron wants to compete for a championship… but he values a realistic chance of winning it all.”
Bronny, entering his second NBA season, averaged 2.3 points in 27 games, while LeBron, now 40, posted 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists last season.
Do you think LeBron will finish his career with the Lakers?
