Randy Moss Says He’s ‘Blessed’ To Return To ESPN After Cancer Battle: ‘It Was An Emotional Rollercoaster’
NFL legend Randy Moss says he’s ready to return to ESPN after battling a rare form of cancer.
“Man, I look forward to [coming back]. I missed my crew. Greenie, Alex, Teddy,” he told TMZ.
Moss humorously added, “I really didn’t miss Rex Ryan much because he got on my nerves. So Rex, if you’re hearing this, I am coming back, so scoot over.”
After surgery to remove a cancer mass near his pancreas and liver, Moss said, “It was an emotional roller coaster.” He credited his support system, including ESPN, football fans, and Michael Jordan, saying, “I thank everybody for their love and their prayers. I really felt everything.”
Reflecting on the journey, Moss added, “It was nothing I wish on any human being, but for the fact that God took me through it and brought me out of it back healthy … I’m a blessed man.”
