Nev Schulman Confirms “Catfish” Is Over; Launched Real Estate Career Days Before Cancellation News
Last month, #NevSchulman earned his real estate broker’s license and is ready to hit the ground running.
Over the weekend, the TV personality shared a video showing off his official “new job” and office space as a New York realtor. In the caption, he reflected, “I never thought something as small as a name plate on a cubicle could mean so much.” Fans flooded the comments asking #Nev, who became a household name thanks to “Catfish: The TV Show,” what this means for the popular MTV series he hosted for 9 seasons.

Well, we now know that “#Catfish” is no more. Variety was the first to report that the show has sadly come to an end. MTV will continue to air episodes and is “allowing the producers to shop the series elsewhere.” After the news broke, Nev and his former co-host #MaxJoseph shared a joint video confirming the cancellation and thanking the crew and fans for their support over the years.
