Halle Berry & Steph Curry Team Up For First-Look Unscripted Film & TV Deal
#HalleBerry’s production company, HalleHolly, has signed a first-look unscripted deal with Unanimous Media, the company founded by NBA star #StephenCurry and Erick Peyton.
The agreement will focus on developing and producing unscripted content that elevates women-led stories and diverse narratives for film and television. As part of the collaboration, Sharla Sumpter-Bridgett, chief content officer at Unanimous Media, will work closely with Berry and her producing partner, Holly Jeter, on new projects.
In a joint statement, Curry and Peyton said, “We’re thrilled to join forces with HalleHolly, a partnership that allows us the opportunity to collaborate on developing new and exciting storytelling opportunities for both of our companies … bringing fresh, underrepresented narratives to the screen.” Berry added that the partnership felt fitting, saying, “It is rare to find partnership with such like-minded people … Stepping into the unscripted space together feels like a natural extension of who we are.”
