Simone Biles Says $23,000 Glam Bill Has Her Ready To Quit Red Carpets – “Y’all Can Have It”
Simone Biles is side-eyeing the price of celebrity glam—and she’s not sure it’s worth it.
The Olympic gold medalist revealed she spent $23,000 on hair, makeup, and styling for a red carpet appearance, admitting the total left her “spiraling” and seriously questioning if stepping out is even worth the cost.
“I just need to know if this is normal,” Biles said. “I know going outside is expensive as f–k these days, but is it this expensive?” She didn’t hold back, adding, “If that’s the new norm, y’all can have it… Y’all will never see me at another event.”
Biles made it clear she isn’t blaming her glam team, stressing, “My intention for this video isn’t so that you guys can go bash people… There’s no ill intent.” She added that everyone she’s worked with has been “LOVELY,” making it clear her frustration is about the pricing—not the people.
Still, she raised eyebrows by calling out a separate issue she’s experienced in the past: “Also kinda wack when they double or triple the price because of your name… This didn’t happen this time but it has before.”
Now, Biles is looking for answers from other public figures, questioning whether celebrities, athletes, and influencers are really paying five-figure glam bills behind the scenes—or if something about the system just isn’t adding up.
