Knicks Players Set To Split $11 Million In Championship Bonuses, Earn Nearly $770K Each

The New York Knicks didn’t just bring home the franchise’s first NBA championship in decades — they’re also cashing in.

According to figures from the NBA’s 2026 playoff bonus pool, the championship-winning Knicks are expected to receive more than $11 million in postseason bonus money. When divided among the roster, that works out to roughly $770,000 per player.

The payout comes from the league’s playoff pool, which rewards teams based on regular-season performance and how far they advance in the postseason. This year’s pool reportedly totaled more than $35 million, with the NBA Finals champions receiving the largest share.

While the bonus may be a drop in the bucket for the team’s highest-paid stars, it represents a significant payday for players on smaller contracts. In some cases, the bonus is nearly equal to an entire season’s salary for lower-paid members of the roster.

The financial reward caps off a historic season for New York, which defeated the San Antonio Spurs in five games to secure the franchise’s first NBA title since 1973. Now, in addition to championship rings and a trophy, Knicks players are also taking home one of the biggest bonus payouts in league history.
