Singer Sheryl Crow Blasts Trump’s ‘Disgraceful’ UFC White House Event, Calls Out Vile & Racist’ Remarks About Michelle
Obama
#SherylCrow is speaking out against the Trump administration after the White House hosted UFC Freedom 250 on its lawn, calling the event “disgraceful and void of decency.”
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, a longtime vocal critic of President #Trump, took to Instagram Stories to condemn what she described as a tone-deaf spectacle at a time when many Americans are financially struggling. In her post, she contrasted the star-studded gathering of wealthy attendees watching a combat sport with the everyday reality faced by average citizens who can’t afford healthcare, gas, or basic living expenses.
Crow’s criticism also targeted remarks made by UFC winner Josh Hokit, who closed out his post-fight interview with an unprompted and widely condemned comment claiming former First Lady #MichelleObama is a man. Crow didn’t stop at criticizing the night itself — she used the platform to urge Americans to look beyond what she called a distraction. “This administration is corrupt and does not give a damn about the American people,” she wrote, accusing it of prioritizing profit over democracy. She closed with a direct appeal: “Let’s be better, America.”
