Rihanna’s Grandmother Dolly Passes, Chris Brown & His Mother React on Twitter

Over the weekend, we learned that Rihanna’s grandmother had lost her battle with cancer. Via twitter, we learned that Clara Braithwaite, whom Rihanna affectionately called ‘Dolly’ had been in a New York hospital battling cancer. Miss Dolly, who was from Barbadaos, had been flown to New York by Rihanna and for the last few months, we had seen photos of the two enjoying each other’s company. Early Sunday morning, Rihanna tweeted:
Thy will be done…It is well done!

And Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown tweeted:
Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP

And Chris’ mother also sent her condolences on twitter, writing:

On a personal note, I’ll attest that you’ve never felt pain, until you’ve lost a grandmother that you’re close with. Sleep Well!

I absolutely agree, that pain is real.
My pain is real, I think of my grandmother EVERYDAY…and I thought I’d surely slow it down since it’s been 10 years but she literally raised me along with my mother, and she was the one i turned too for everything. Even if you’re prepared and knowing they will pass which was the same for me, you still can’t accept it.
And ya don’t think Rihanna and Chris still talk? #Alright…ManHollaThen
