Michael Jordan Planning Spring Wedding to Fiance + Sylvia Rhone Lands New Deal At Epic Records
Reportedly, former NBA baller Michael Jordan and his fiance Yvette Prieto are in full wedding planning mode and are planning a spring ceremony. Tattle Tailzz reports that the Bobcats owner will walk down the aisle for a second time Saturday, April 27th, 2013. The private wedding will take place in Florida.
And in other news, record executive Sylvia Rhone has just landed an exclusive venture with Epic Records. Rhone, the former president of Universal Motown Records, will form “Vested In Culture” (VIC), a New York based label. She will report to LA Reid as she oversees the operations of the new label. Sony Music Entertainment CEO Doug Morris had this to say about Rhone getting onboard:
“Sylvia is one the most talented and gifted creative executives in the industry. She is a proven success who time-and-again has displayed a special understanding of how to inspire great artistry and develop hits. We are excited to be working with her on this new venture, and we are proud to call her a member of the Sony Music family.”
Rhone is also looking forward to her future with VIC, as she stated:
“The partnership between Vested In Culture and Epic Records marks an exciting new chapter in my career. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Doug Morris and LA Reid, and couldn’t ask to work with better music men than them. I look forward to building a great label and being a part of their continued success.”
The first project on VIC’s agenda will be from Kat Dhalia, a Latin pop star.
