PETA Says Janet Jackson’s Fashion & Career Are ‘Dead’ + Guess What They Call Her?
The controversial animal rights organization, PETA, is no fan of singer/actor Janet Jackson and continues to be vocal about it. Recently, PETA released a press release stating,
“When Janet Jackson had her infamous ‘wardrobe malfunction’ during the Super Bowl, at least the flesh that popped into view was her own—unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career). Ms. Jackson, you’re just plain nasty.”
And if that’s not bad enough, they’ve titled Ms. Jackson, “the Grinch of the Year.” Why you ask? Apparently, there aren’t a fan of her recent partnership and launch with fur label, Blackglama. The line, which recently hit select stores, includes outerwear and accessories, and consists of 15 pieces ranging from coats, jackets, vests, scarves, gloves and other accessories. All pieces utilize Blackglama mink, as well other materials such as leather.
