[Photos & Footage] Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Beats Cotto + Justin Bieber Joins the ‘Money Team’

Thousands gathered at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night to see the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather take on Miguel Cotto. Some would argue that if you paid the $60 for this Pay-Per-View, you certainly got your moneys worth. Unlike Mayweather’s last Pay-Per-View fight, this bout with Cotto went all the way up to round 12. According to commentators, this was easily one of the closest and toughest fights for Pretty Boy Floyd. Early in the fight, Cotto gave Mayweather a bloody nose but took quite the amount of swelling and whelps in exchange. In the end Floyd shook it off and went on to take the fight winning with a unanimous decision. So it seems that the saying will now have to be changed to
“ 43 have tried and 43 have fallen. “
At the end of the fight Mayweather eluded to the fact that he still wants to give the people what they want: Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. Keeping in mind that in less than 60 days, Mayweather will be doing a short jail stint, could we EVER see the Pacquia fight? P.S. What’s up with that Justin Bieber appearance?
Here’s footage of the 12th round:
