Tia Mowry Responds To ‘Disgusting’ Comments About Her Having An ‘Ugly’ Baby
34-year old actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict has responded to Internet hate regarding the looks of her son Cree Taylor Hardrict. Cree is Tia and her husband Cory Hardrict’s first child together. The couple welcomed their baby boy on June 28, 2011 and since them Tia, being the proud mommy that she should be, has posted pictures of him on the Internet.
Some of the pictures received ‘disgusting’ comments about the appearance of her son. Tia responded to the negativity on Live From E! saying,
“I really don’t understand why people feel the need to belittle a child, someone who doesn’t even have a voice yet to express themselves. I just think it’s disgusting—disgusting that we live in a society that focuses on looks.”
She also gave her choice of words for those who judge women for slacking on their post-baby bodies. Tia said,
“Guys, let’s get women time to get back to themselves. We just brought life into this world. Some women bounce back quickly and some don’t…I’m not gonna be at a gym five days a week. I wanna spend time with my son.”

Cree is the cutest baby. Any child to their parents is God’s gift. Social media needs to focus their energy, comments, concerns and criticisms on more important issues like the upcoming election, the effect the economy has on young adults and the rising crime rate.
Cree is a beautiful and adorable baby. Now, using social media to insult and hurt people is only done by ignorant and uneducated people who know nothing about what is going on in the world. This is election year and issues need to be discussed and of course we need to urge everyone to vote and put President Obama back in office. People open your eyes and ears because this is serious.

I’m on team: “If you don’t have something nice to say…” No, you don’t have to pretend that all kids are cute, but I don’t see the point in calling them ugly either–esp in a public forum where the kid’s mom can see.
