Rohan Marley (Sorta) Explains Why He Ended Relationship With Lauryn Hill

Rohan Marley (the song of legendary Bob Marley), has finally spoken out, since ending his relationship with the mother of his children, Lauryn Hill.

The two, who had been dating since 1996, have five children (allegedly, Lauryn’s last son, Micah, is by another man). Reportedly, their relationship ended abruptly in 2011 and neither have officially addressed their relationship status to the public, until now. In an interview with the UK’s Voice, Rohan confirms (sorta, kinda) why their relationship ended.
“As a man, there are certain things I don’t accept, and it just so happened that I didn’t accept certain things [in the relationship]. It doesn’t mean she’s [Hill] a bad person or I’m a bad person. It just didn’t work out.”
He continues:
“[Our relationship] is good as in… in terms of being a mother and father to our children, it’s good. It’s not as perfect as one might want it to be. It’s just the way the road went.”
Rohan has since become engaged to Brazilain supermodel Isabeli Fontana.
