According to reports, the judge has ordered Mill’s legal team to return to court Monday for a status hearing, though it was not immediately clear what issues might be discussed.

On Wednesday morning, Mayor Kenney visited Mill at the state prison in Chester, according to his office, joining a roster of athletes, celebrities, and business moguls who have recently visited him.

Kenney’s spokeswoman, Ajeenah Amir, said the mayor spent about an hour with Mill after being invited by Michael Rubin, the billionaire co-owner of the 76ers, who has become one of Mill’s biggest advocates. Kenney’s rep said in an email,

[He] believes [Mill] would better serve the community outside of prison, and that his case makes clear and urgent the desperate need to continue working with our partners to reform the criminal justice system.

No additional details have been released.

Right! I was thinking I feel sorry for all the people who have committed no crime and don’t have people to fight for them to get out or get fair sentences the way Meek does. And I’m sure there are plenty #RIPKaleifBrowder

Any body from here on out in Philly if you get locked up and people don’t bend over backwards for you mention this shit until you get some justice. Cause the real injustice to me is how many chances this man has got and there are people who get falsely accused and they can’t get a person to listen to them or even look into their case.
