[Video] Mimi Faust’s New Love & Hip Hop ATL Boyfriend Explains Why K.Michelle Lied About Sexuality
It’s no secret, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Mimi Faust has a new man, Niko. And although the second season of the hit VH1 show hasn’t aired yet, we’re well aware that we’ll see Mimi’s new love interest and there will be some drama involved with him. Initially, we learned about him, during a radio interview. And later, reality TV junkies were buzzing when cast-mate K.Michelle, did some radio promo, and gave her opinion on Mimi’s new man. In short, K.Michelle is not a fan, suggesting that he may be an opportunist and questions his sexuality (she alluded to the fact that he may be ‘down low’). Recently, Niko did an interview with Cotten Kandi, responding to K.Michelle’s claims, her issues with the singer and just how he and Mimi joined romantic forces. Peep a few excerpts below:
On How He and Mimi Met:
We’ve known each other for 12 years we recently started rekindling we recently saw each other so I say about a good four or five months we been going out.
On If the Stevie J Love Triangle, With Mimi and Joseline, Still Exists:
Definitely no Stevie J.
On Allegations via K.Michelle ,That He’s Gay:
First, I want address it by saying I’m not gay, I’m not bisexual and I’m not on the down low. I’m [a] straight man and heterosexual–anybody who knows me–do your research. You can check all of this out. The way I raised my self I’m a street kid from Brooklyn; so anyone who knows me from Brooklyn [knows me] can tell you my resume.
On What Motivated K.Michelle to make untrue claims:
You have to look at [it]; she really doesn’t have a male figure in her life and a lot of issues even on the show with bullying. She has war with anybody. She doesn’t really know me. We met twice for her to make those rumors and opinion that’s what it is her opinion. She don’t really know me–it could be to take blows at Mimi because Mimi is happy. I see it as a home wrecker and this is what she is known for. Her words won’t validate me so I don’t care. I do have a gay family member and for her to make those comments is a strike on the gay community. I don’t have anything against gay people and I’m not gay.
On If He’ll Appear on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta:
I’m absolutely on the show. You’re going to have to wait until the show comes on to see what I will be doing. I’m doing a lot of things but I can’t give away the story lines.
