[WATCH] LaToya Jackson Insists Omarosa Uses Her Fiances Death As Leverage on ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ + Omarosa’s Attorney Releases Statement
The late Michael Jackson’s elder sister, LaToya Jackson, is speaking out, since being fired from Celebrity Apprentice’s All-Star cast. The 56-year-old singer, who also has snagged an OWN reality show (Life With LaToya Jackson) is quite bouisterous these days–and controversial. This week, she and Omarosa Manigault are having a legal battle of sorts, because of comments that LeToya made about Omarosa’s late fiance, Michael Clarke Duncan, during the episode. Here’s a part of the letter that Omarosa’s attorney has released to the press:
La Toya Jackson’s statement on the March 17, 2013 episode of All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, that the Reverend Omarosa Manigault caused her fiancé Michael Clarke Duncan to die, is false, vicious and defamatory. Rev. Manigault has been heralded as a life saver for her actions on the evening that her fiancé suffered a life-ending heart attack. It is because of her bravery that Mr. Duncan — the love of Rev. Manigault’s life — was able to live for months beyond that tragic night. Mr. Duncan passed away from natural causes. Ms. Jackson made the statement immediately after having been “fired” off the show, and blames Rev. Manigault for her loss. It is repulsive and of the lowest level of class for Ms. Jackson, who showed herself to be a “sore loser” in making these disgusting statements in the wake of Rev. Manigault’s tragic loss.
Two days after her elimination, she went on the Wendy Williams Show. Check out some of the interview:
What do you guys think? That’s what every team mate is saying. She uses it right on key. All the time. And I think it’s sad. It’s crocodile tears.
Michael was a really sweet guy. He was a big buy, but he was a gentle at the same time. I’m just puzzled at [how] a guy so kind, so sweet, can a guy be mates with something like that. The guys (on the show) were afraid of her.
