[New Music] Drake Drops ‘Girls Love Beyonce’ + ‘No New Friends’
Popular Miami-based DJ Khaled released a new track “No New Friends” featuring verses from today’s hip-hop heavy weights Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Drake. Drake also lends his smooth vocals on the track making it clear that he is not in the business of making new friends stating:
Still ride with my day one ni–as, I don’t really need new ones”.
All three rappers featured on the track have recently been caught in controversy in the past few weeks. Just last week, Rick Ross was dropped from Reebox over controversial rape lyrics. Lil Wayne had a run in with rapper Trick Daddy (not to mention and health scare a few weeks ago) and Drake threw shade at Chris Brown in a recent interview stating:
I make better music than him…at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap.”
Ouch. The Toronto based rapper also released ‘Girls Love Beyonce.’ The new track has the 26-year-old rap/singing about dating troubles and finding the perfect girl:
Who will help me think of someone besides myself…Someone I leave the front door with cause we don’t want to hide no more.”
The song borrows the hook from Destiny’s Child mega-hit Say My Name. Listen to both new tracks below.
