Over the weekend, a few of Hollywood’s A-listers attended the LadyLike Foundation’s annual “Women of Excellence Awards” awards, an event acknowledging women who exhibit excellence in their respective professional sectors and philanthropy.
Hosted by philanthropist and actress Holly Robinson Peete, awards were presented to Cookie Johnson (wife of Magic Johnson; philanthropist, child advocate and spokeswoman for Women’s Health), Wendy Raquel Robinson (actress), Shaun Robinson (entertainment journalist for ‘Access Hollywood’, author and host), Dr. Pamela Wiley-Wells (President of the Los Angeles Speech & Language Therapy Center) and Dunia Elvir (Telemundo Anchor). theJasmineBrand.com was in attendance and spotted other celebs on the pink carpet like BasketBall Wives LA’s Laura Govan (who attended with two of her daughters), Vanessa Bell Calloway, Simone Smith (wife of LL Cool J), Hollywood Exes Sheree Fletcher and some other fancy folk. The event included a silent auction and presentations from young ladies participating in the LadyLike Foundation programs, sharing testimonials and experiences as to how LadyLike is positively impacting their lives.
