Deion Sanders Is Officially A Single Man, Announces Divorce From Pilar + Tracy Edmonds Chimes In

Deion Sanders is officially a single man again! Sorta. On Friday, the former NFL’er announced that his very public and ugly divorce from Pilar Sanders had officially ended. He wrote on twitter:

Thank God Thank God! This 2 year Drama filled divorce is over. Prenup stood, Custody of All kids,pay yo own fees! God is Faithful! Truth…Men Listen closely! Don’t choose a woman with your Flesh choose her with your Spirit & Heart. Yo flesh will Lie until yo flesh die. Truth…Thru Trials&Tribulation u get a chance 2 witness many people around u & how they may vary from situation 2 circumstance. Learn & Live! Truth….God is so good to me and you!!! Thank you Jesus in advance for the things you’re about to do.

Deion’s girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, remained publicly supportive tweeting him:

This is Deion’s second marriage. He and share three children together (Shilo, Shedeur, Shelomi). In March, he was awarded primary custody of their children. Pilar made no announced publicly, but earlier this year, confirmed she’s using her pen game to get her story out. Reportedly, she’s writing a book, Saving Sanders: The Pilar Sanders Untold Story, described as:

“true, uncut story about the abuse Pilar endured, how she built an empire with him, and how he cheated on her.”

Pilar says that she wants women, who have had similar experiences, to learn from her:

“I want to be a mentor to other women who have been abused, by sharing my story, my struggles and letting them in, it will not only help heal myself but others experiencing the same trials and struggles as well. There are thousands of women fighting for their rights, their children and their own identity out there. We as women and mothers need to ban together to show support for injustice. I will continue my fight as long as I walk this earth, and with Jesus at my side all will prevail.”
