[WATCH] Celebrity Stylist Chris Mannor Debuts New Video With Karrine Steffans, ‘Monster’
If the name Chris Manor rings a bell, more than likely it’s in the fashion world. The St. Petersburg native has styled a number of A-listers (like Amber Rose, Angela and Vanessa Simmons, Lindsay Lohan, etc.), but fashion styling isn’t his only area of expertise. Recently, the style director has ventured into the musical lane (under the name Cea$ar Mullan), debuting his new video, ‘Monster’, featuring Arielle O’keefe. Why music?
He explains:
At the end of the day I’m an artist. I have a very successful fashion career and I’m hoping that I’m successful at the music as well. I’ve styled everyone from Lindsay Lohan, Christina Milian and Angela Simmons, to Terrell Owens, Mike Tyson and Laz Alonso. The music is just another way of me being an artist.
Directed by David Cortes, the video features former video vixen, Karrine Steffans, who opens up a bit about her take on ‘love’ at the beginning of the video. When we chatted with Chris, he explained why he selected such a controversial leading lady for the song:
Karrine Steffans is an icon love her or hate her, and the footage of her take on love is so relevant in our culture because there’s a whole world of girls who come from what she’s talking about. Girls who are aspiring for fleeting fame or in love with a guy that’s already taken. This is love and hip hop.
He continued:
We’re just kids following our passion hoping that someone notices and gives us the opportunity to share it with the world. I’m an industry professional so I’m using my knowledge behind the scenes to make quality visuals and everything to accompany the music.
