Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne & Cash Money Take Home Multiple BMI Hip Hop Awards + Eva Marcille, Trina & Friends Hit Red Carpet
Thursday night, the BMI R&B Hip Hop Awards went down at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The annual invitation-only honors the world’s premier songwriters, producers and publishers of the most-performed r&b/hip-hop songs of the previous year, as well as the presentation of the Social Star Award, and R&B/Hip-Hop Songwriter, Producer and Publisher of the Year. For the most part, the evening belonged to Cash Money. Bryan “Birdman” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams (who won seven awards) were honored, with Juvenile, Turk, Mannie Fresh & Curren$y, Trina and others performing a tribute to Cash Money.
