[INTERVIEW] Adrienne Bailon On ‘The View’ Comparisons, Why She Hasn’t Reached Out to Rob Kardashian & What She Loves Most About Her Boyfriend
It’s still not gone but it’s a process. I wish I could be spokesperson for young people and getting tattoos. The day I have children, and I have a niece now, I will tell her the day she considers getting a tattoo to just think it through. Those things are permanent and trust me the removal is far more painful than getting the tattoo. People ask why did I wait so long. Well, I didn’t want to end up with a damaged skin and I’ve seen other people that have gotten theirs removed and it does not look good. A lot of people it just looks like they’ve gotten branded like a burn mark. So, I was like let me hold off and let me not remove it until I can find either a doctor or someone that can do it and do it well. So there is a doctor in New York that is doing it and the actual laser machine is state of the art, it’s called PicoSure and they’re saying that I should have nothing and that it should look like skin.
theJasmineBRAND: Will you ever get another tattoo?
Nope, never, ever, ever, I don’t care. Jesus knows I love him so I don’t need a tattoo of that either.
theJasmineBRAND: When was the last time that you spoke to Rob Kardashian?
Years ago.
theJasmineBRAND: People wanted you to reach out to him a few months ago because he was going through something, anything to say about that?
I just think it’s not my place, I wish him all the best wishes. I think if you love somebody once in your life, you’ll always have a place for them that you care for them and you want the best for them and that’s what it is.
theJasmineBRAND: Moving on, what made you come out about your current boyfriend?
Well I don’t think we’ve ever been a secret, but we just chose to be private. I think sadly people dwelled so much on one relationship of mine, that you’ve just never looked up to see who was in my life. I think people like the scandalous stories more than they like just knowing that I don’t have a famous boyfriend, he’s a regular guy, he works in the industry but he’s just a normal man and I love that.
theJasmineBRAND: What do you love most about him?
He’s got a great sense of humor and he’s very passionate, about everything. If it’s buying my momma a new washer machine, he just does everything with so much passion and integrity and I just love that about him.
theJasmineBRAND: Is he older?
Yes, nine years.
theJasmineBRAND: When was the last time that you cried? and about What?
Yesterday, I was in the shower and I thought of something and I cried. I usually don’t admit to crying at all, like I don’t cry. It’s very, very rare, that I would cry in front of people but I cry by myself often. It’s usually happy tears and I think yesterday I was just grateful that I’m here in my apartment here in L.A. and just grateful. Just got in the shower and thought my truck gets here tomorrow from NY. I’m grateful. I’m just so happy to be here and just probably praying to God and being thankful.
theJasmineBRAND: Favorite time of day to have sex.
