Love Don’t Live Here, Anymore: Ginuwine & Wife Sole Confirm Divorce + Singer Admits: It was my fault.
Ginuwine (real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin) is confirming reports that he will be a single man in the very near future. After 11 years of marriage he and his wife, Sole (real name Tonya M. Johnston), are calling it quits. The TGT singer wrote a personal message about his marital status and denied false reports that Sole had essentially left him broke. In fact, he blames himself for the divorce.
He writes:
I need to address yesterday’s rumor because it is not totally accurate and I don’t want my wife being made out to be the bad guy here.
