Nicci Gilbert Vents About ‘R&B Divas Atl’ Rumored Cancellation: They tried to destroy my character!
Nicci Gilbert isn’t too thrilled with the good folks at Think Factory Media and executive producer Phil Thornton. Gilbert, who was a cast member, creator and producer of R&B Divas Atlanta, posted the Instagram photo above, with the caption:

One of Gilbert’s followers left a comment asking a few questions about the franchise:
I’m so confused @niccigilbert why is ATL not coming back but LA is? Where is Ortiz? Why are the missing up good rated shows?
To this, Gilbert replied:
@313levels I have no idea love u have to ask #PhilThornton or #ThinkFactoryMedia im too distracted fighting for the money they have held from me on both franchises I created while they turn the series into whatever THEY think people wanna see. I havent [sic] been creatively involved since Season 1 of ATL. They just decided to take it, try to destroy my character, not pay me and tie me up for 2 yrs in legal fees
