Walter Scott Mother Forgives Officer That Shot Unarmed Son-the jasmine brand

Judy would like for her son to be remembered in a positive light:

He was a loving son. A loving father. He cared about his family. And I will no matter what happens, it will not replace my son.

As to how she feels, she says:

I feel forgiveness in my heart. Even for the guy who shot and killed my son. Yes, I do.

      Forgiveness is in her heart for her own well-being…..so that she can carry on with her life. You’re obviously upset….but that “church mindset” you speak of kept my people hopeful for better days.
