Rapper Jeezy Announces New Luxury Champagne Brand, Project Gold Bottles
Rapper Jeezy (real name Jay Jenkins) has announced his development of a new luxury champagne brand. As with most projects in the development phase, this initiative comes with an alias. The new project has been coined “Project Gold Bottles.” The project has served as the inspiration behind Jeezy’s recently released song “Gold Bottles,” from his forthcoming album.
After being nudged by several industry leaders in the champagne space to create a new brand, Jeezy recognized it was time to put a stake in the ground and begin the development of a champagne. Jeezy’s first step was reaching out to friend Ken Austin, the founder of Tequila Avion and a well-known, successful entrepreneur and spirits and beverage expert, to partner on his venture.
Jeezy explains:
I have long loved high-end tequila and champagne and this love has inspired me to create a rich, full bodied champagne that represents my passion. I am fortunate to have a partner like Ken whose entrepreneurial track record includes my favorite ultra-premium tequila. Ken has a deep understanding of the drinks space and several luxury categories that I know will be invaluable to growing this business. I look forward to bringing a luxury champagne to my fellow artists and fans in the near future.
