Azealia Banks was in tears while discussing the controversy surrounding her and Russell Crowe. The 25-year-old rapper recounted the argument that led up to her getting kicked out of the 52-year-old actor’s Beverly Hilton hotel room suite on Saturday, October 15. Calling it humiliating she explained,

Because every time, every time something like this happens, I’m always being blamed for wanting this kind of attention. Like, who the f–k wants to tell somebody they got spat on? You know, that’s humiliating. And I’m just, like, really, really humiliated.

Russell Crowe’s just like, ‘Oh, you haven’t done anything with your career.’ And I’m just like, ‘Well, nobody’s checkin’ for you right now, so let’s just settle down.’ And then when I said that, the whole table was like, ‘Oh my god, how dare you!’

Banks previously claimed Crowe then called her the N-word, choked her, picked her up and physically removed her from the hotel suite. Sources close to Crowe, in addition to RZA, deny that he called her the N-word. However, RZA has said that Crowe did spit on Banks.

The frustrating point is that RZA, he immediately just kinda gives me the look, like, ‘Oh my god, you’re f–king up my seat at the table with the white guys. The big white Hollywood guys.’
